Spring is Renewal
For many religions, Easter represents the resurrection of Christ. Jesus always had a positive message, even until the end on the cross. The placement of the Easter holiday at the beginning of spring on the calendar is also a reminder of renewal. Just like we do at the beginning of a new year. We make our resolutions and hope we stick to them. Spring is a time of new life forming in nature, the waking up after a cold winter. For us as humans, we can feel the renewal as well. The resurrection of life after a long winter’s cold.
Spring is a good time for detoxification of our bodies from poor eating choices or lack of activity and our minds from depression, negative emotions and thoughts.
Our thoughts can be as toxic as the foods we choose to eat if we are not choosing wisely. Whenever you find yourself in toxic thought, a simple way to reverse the effects is to replace it with a positive affirmation. The affirmation serves as an anecdote for the negative thought patterns. With daily practice you can lift yourself up and feel better, live healthier and happier.
Affirmation: I have gratitude for my life and I respect it by choosing healthy foods and healthy thoughts.
