Affirmations for Happiness
The subconscious mind is where all your programming is stored and runs on auto-pilot. This is where we need to upgrade the software if we don't like what's running on our internal computer. Most of these programs were installed before the age of three to five years. Trying to untangle a fear based reaction or an emotional outburst can be frustrating for many.
Affirmations are no stranger to most people. You see them posted everywhere in a famous quote or poetic beginning to a chapter in a book. So how does all this fit in to shifting your subconscious mind?
Human beings are naturally creatures of habit. It only takes two to three weeks of repeated routine to create a new habit. Most of you know this from the grueling sessions in a new workout routine. The good news is the mind can be trained to accept a new routine. Positive affirmations are one of the many ways you can achieve happiness and change what’s holding you back from reaching your highest potential.
Using daily positive affirmations for at least three to four weeks is the key to create a shift in the subconscious mind. I personally use them all 365 days of the year. For more impact, look yourself in the mirror and say them aloud to yourself. Record them in your own voice and listen to them throughout the day. The subconscious trusts your own voice better than anyone so the results can be powerful. I print them out on nice stock paper and have them posted throughout my office for my clients, co-workers and myself.
Everyday life has its ups and downs. So next time life for you is in a down swing, use daily affirmations to reverse the energy and lift you back up.
Affirmation for Depression: I deserve happiness and allow my thoughts to reflect a happy lifestyle by taking care of my body, mind and soul.
