Show Description: Dr Jenn welcomes her guest author Brent Marchant to share how movies can teach us a lot about the nature of our reality. His new book Consciously Created Cinema and its predecessor work Get the Picture, explains how films illustrate the principles of conscious creation (also known as the law of attraction) in shaping the existence we each experience. Drawing on examples from a variety of cinematic genres, Brent approaches this subject from a unique standpoint that's both enlightening and entertaining.
Conscious Creation in the Movies
Through his writings and interviews, Brent offers a basic approach to the subject, explaining what conscious creation (also known as the law of attraction) is all about and showing how movies illustrate its principles. His writings encompass films from a wide variety of genres, including comedies, dramas, classics, science fiction and more.
Conscious Creation in Current Films
This is an especially popular discussion topic during movie awards season. In employing this format, Brent looks at recent releases in terms of how they illustrate conscious creation principles. This information can be supplemented with background information on the subject and with additional film examples from his books.
Current Trends, Current Films and Conscious Creation
If art reflects life, and life reflects art, in either case it all begins with conscious creation. This approach examines how current social, political and other trends begin from within and spring forth into materialization, with art forms like film reflecting their development and emergence.
