When Men were Boys -Father's Day June 21st.


Father’s Day is approaching and the men in our life need to know they are appreciated. Men’s happiness and stress levels affect their health. So I thought this would be the perfect time to send out a little humor for a good dose of laughter. Laughter is a stress releaser and is important to everyone’s health.
Everyone need balance and that means playtime. In general, statistics show that men are better at fitting playtime into their schedules than women. That is something we can learn from them. In order to be healthy and balanced you need time set aside for fun.
In honor of our men, I wrote a humorous short story that will give everyone a good chuckle. The story is fictional but the inspiration is based on true facts. Of course, the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

The time was approaching five o'clock. I knew my brother Bill and I had to start heading home for dinner. Mom and Dad were strict about curfews. We were covered head to toe in grey powder. We had busted open the cement bags at a home construction site in our neighborhood. We managed to turn idle curiosity into a powder fight that created a cloud of dust over the area. READ ON
